Engine: 3 liter inline-6 Aspiration: twin turbochargers HP: 513 hp @ 5500-7300 rpm HP/Liter: 171 hp per liter Torque: 516 lb-ft 0-62 mph: 3.9 seconds Top Speed: over 202 mph G-Power presents their Bi-Tronik 5 V1 electronic control module for the BMW M3/4. It provides an additional 88 hp for a total of 513 hp from the twin turbocharged 3 liter inline-6. The module utilizes all motor protection and diagnosis functions for engine longevity. The power increase is only activated when the cooling water temperature is reached, and shut off when oil temperature reaches the permitted maximum. G-Power will also remove the V-max limiter which allows for a speed of 202 mph. Other features include the height and pressured adjustable GM4-RS threaded undercarriage, as well as 20″ ultra-lightweight forged aluminum wheels.
(from G-Power Press Release) G-POWER M3/M4: with 325 km/h and 520 PS / 700 Nm on eye level with the super sport cars from Italy In its 6th edition, the BMW M3/M4 presents with a 3.0 litres six-cylinder serial motor, thanks to its default Biturbo charge the ideal basis for additional power increases: optimisation of the motor electronics by G-POWER Bi-Tronik 5 V1 already increases power by 89 to a total of 520 PS. Raising the V-max limit permits the G-POWER M3/M4 a maximum speed in excess of 325 km/h at the same time. Key Facts: G-POWER M3/M4 (F8X) • 520 PS / 382 kW at 5,500–7,300 Rpm (+89 PS / 65 kW) • 700 Nm at 1,850–5,500 Rpm (+150 Nm) • V-max: >325 km/h • 0-100 km/h: 3.9s • 0-200 km/h: 11.8s • External power module Bi-Tronik 5 for 3,358.80 Euro gross • V-MAX lift as of 3,451.00 Euro gross • GM4-RS threaded undercarriage 2,427.49 Euro gross • 20 inch forged wheel set HURRICANE RR incl. tyres starting at 7,998.00 Euro gross The additional module Bi-Tronik 5 V1 used in the BMW M3/M4, connected upstream of the original motor control unit, records the information measured and submitted by the vehicle sensors before they reach the serial control unit. The data that are read in are modified by the Bi-Tronik 5 microprocessor and thus submitted to the serial control unit. This in turn determines the parameters required for the output, such as fuel amount and ignition time, before initiating a moderate increase of the charging pressure. As a result, a power increase of 431 PS (317 kW) / 550 Nm to 520 PS (382 kW) / 700 Nm results for the 3.0-litres-Biturbo drive of the BMW M3/M4, giving the BMW M3/M4 a noticeably more powerful performance characteristic. After the power treatment, 100 km/h can be reached in only 3.9 seconds; 0-200 km/h is possible in 11.8 seconds, and the acceleration orgy ends beyond the 325 km/h mark. Of course, the G-POWER technicians considered motor hardware compatibility in their power upgrade as well: The external power module G-POWER Bi-Tronik 5 V1 maintains all motor protection and diagnosis functions. For example, power increase is activated only once the prescribed cooling water temperature is reached, and temporarily deactivated when a maximum permitted oil temperature (e.g. when driving under permanent full load in high summer) occurs. On the undercarriage, the viewer will notice the ultra-light-weight 20-inch G-POWER HURRICANE RR forged wheel set of high-tech aeroplane aluminium, equipped with tyres from G-POWER’s technology partner MICHELIN in sizes 245/30ZR20 and 285/25ZR20. With their double-spoke design, the G-POWER-wheels set individual accents at the body of your BMW M4, raising it from the mass. Driving behaviour is additionally optimised by the height- und pressure-adjustable G-POWER GM4-RS-threaded undercarriage. The costs for this power upgrade are more moderate than the additional output suggests: 3,358.80 Euro gross for the external power module Bi-Tronik 5 and 3,451 Euro gross for the changes to the serial electronics to increase the V-max limit. The G-POWER forged wheel set HURRICANE RR incl. MICHELIN tyres costs 7,998.00 Euro gross; the GM4-RS threaded undercarriage is listed at 2,427.49 Euro gross.
